about two years ago i was trying to buy a car to use for business,my name was forwarded to ycc through a finance institution,i was not aware of that until lettres from ycc start arriving,i phoned them up to find out how they got hold of my details,they explained to me about their links with other financial institutions,so i asked what are the offers,and of course(we are here to help you get that car you always wanted) at 19.9%apr and no catch whatsoever,seemed straight forward,i needed a bit of time to do my researche about ycc,to my surprise few of my friends have already dealt with ycc,and none of them was completly satisfy for different reasons of course,so i decided to go along with ycc and listen to what they have to offer.first it was your old car as a deposit,since i had no car it any cash amount will do,we agreed on £500.00,until now it was fine and then suddenly comes the famous underwriter who turned out to be a ghost because you don't see him and you cannot speak to him either,after few days negotiating the deal over the phone the apr changed to 29.9%,i tried to remind the salesman that he told me 19.9% apr and no catch,(oh! let me speak to the underwriter) put me on hold and come back (well sir if you had a car as a deposit than it would have been 19.9%),so i told him before we proceed any further i would like you to be as clear as possible about your procedure ,i pick a car worth £6000.00 at 29.9% apr how mutch in total would i have to pay and i want a 03 years extended warrenty with it?the answer was (for £500.00 deposit you can only go up to £5000.00 car and we don't do extended warenties),and my total balance would have been just over £11000.00 for a car anyone can get for less than £3000.00,because of other hidden fees(administration fees!!!).my friend's car has broken down and he had no assistance what so ever from them,so he stopped his payments well yes he did get in all sort of problems(financialy) afterward,but realy it is not worth it if you ever think of buying a car leave ycc as your last reasolt and in extreem desperation.
