We purchased car from yes car credit in sep 2005 for 3.500.00 total inc interest over 5 yrs was 5.500.00. We paid all our monthly payments apart from when my partner was off work sick, we paid gap ins to cover us for this reason we filled the form out got it signed off our doctor and sent it in we followed all the correct procedure. We then changed the direct debit date to the 19th of each month they took the payment out on that date and then on the 24th at 9.30pm we had a knock at the door where we found that they had come to take the car away for non-payments. My 3 young children were at the door whilst my partner emptied the car,We had no one to call to find out why this had happened as it was out of hours. We called the next day to find out why this had happened and were told that the gap insurance did not cover my partners 2 months off sick. We were left with 3 children to get 2 school 10 miles away from home, my partner to get to work 20 miles from home and myself to get to work with no means of transport. We were not in debt to this company therefore they should not have taken this car away we had kept to our end of the bargain. Now we cannot get to work in order to earn money to survive. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE CON AND SHOULD BE ON CAR DEALERS FROM HELL.
