Advantages: Helps ppl in a tight corner

Disadvantages: if you get into arrears they arn't so nice

I got my car in August 2004, and was happy.but the car it self wasn't what I was used to, I had a nice car before, electric everything but I needed a car so went with the only automatic they had, better that nothing!. the repayments I could afford at the time and they were always helpful when I rang up.
But in October 2005 I went on to JSA, after my maternity leave ran out and found myself in a diffibult place. They rang me AND the 2 people I named they could call if they couldn't get hold of me, BUT wait a moment I couldn't remember saying they could ever call them!!!.
I paid what I could when I could, then in Jan this year it did get quiet bad.
I started working in Feb this year, but I went a month with out wages due to a internal cock up, So in May the people at YCC refered me to the credit people, I was so worried I was going to lose my car but they couldn't be more helpful, I said I'll pay about £60 per week to clear it, and the man said 'no no, pay £45.00!' so stupidly I said yes ok.
So to now, on Tuesday I recieved a letter saying I still owed £349.00 in arrears plus on top. So I called them and they said they want on top of the £45 a week and extra £40!!!. There not willing to budge, can't see I cant' afford it, and I wouldn't mind but the car is to small for us and it 's my no means worth over £7000!!!.
So since then they have phoned, now this is since Tuesday, 15 times!, 15 times!, these include nonsense ones of 'oh sorry mrs blake I see you already spoken to someone today' about 3 times aday. there is only so many times I can pu a fake smile on and say 'thats okay'.
I know I owe the money I am not saying I don't, but my god I have told them I am waiting for it to go to the credit people (as they are slightly nicer, and not seem quiet so nasty and besides they do have a bit more leeway).
Had I could brought a car in another manner I would!.

Summary: nasty, pushy and boardering on harassment!
