Anglian Conservatories (Anglian)
Member Name: John Glynn
Advantages: Competitive price, quick and competent fitting Disadvantages: Very poor after sales We had an Anglian Conservatory built in 2003 and were initially very pleased with the workmanship and quick build. However, towards the end of 2006 we noticed that there was a problem with the glass in a couple of frames adjoining the house. We contacted Anglian in September 2006 and they sent an engineer out in October 2006. We didn't hear from them again until we rang their head office in January 2007. We were told the conservatory needed tying into the house and the part was on order. We had to phone them again before they would confirm the date for the work in May. The day that they were due to arrive they phoned to say the parts had been 'stolen'. They rearranged the appointment for June. We then got a card on the post for a new date in July. This was confirmed by phone. On the day in July (2nd), a note was left through the door to say that the part needed was not available and someone would phone us later that day. We are still waiting!!!! We rang them and they refused to discuss the issue or pass on the problem to managment. We have lost all confidence in Anglian and would now advise people not to use this company as their aftersales service is non-existent. Summary: Poor service was recieved after conservatory was built. |
