Had Anglian windows quote for all windows (18) front and back door and changing a window to patio doors. The salesman was very thorough and went through in great detail all about the quality of the product. After the usual discounts etc got a very good price of £10k to replace everything, sounds like a lot of money but this is their rosewood effect windows and we have 6 floor to ceiling height windows.
The fitters have been here all week fitting them and they have done an excellent job - very professional, courteous and clean.

Anglian arrived on Monday to fit 7 very large windows and 2 large slider doors. The guys who came were really good, the finishing is excellent , HOWEVER , All but 2 of the windos / doors were either scratched or not working. We have refused to pay the balance until installation is complete. Sales team told us not to pay until we were satisfied , installations team pushing for the balance .

What would you do fellow Anglian customers ??

I replaced all my windows with Anglian windows a couple of years ago. Now that the weather has gotten colder the outside of the windows is covered with condensation until about 11.30am when it eventually disappears. I can't even see out through the windows until then. Anglian says that this is a sign of how energy efficient the windows are and there is nothing that can be done about it. I live in a town house with rows of identical houses, most of which have replacement windows. No other house has condensation on the outside of the windows. Can anyone offer me any advice?

2 years on and we are still having issues with a conservatory that is coming away from our house due to too shalllow foundations being dug even though we paid for extra depth. A tree root was also dug around and was embedded in the base of the conservatory. Remedial work has not fixed the problem and we are still getting very little help from the complaints team or the regional office. Small claims court will be utilised in the next few weeks.....

hello anglian reviewers,,can anyone help me out with a question on signing the golden nugget form agreeing to finance from said company.in top left corner it says you agree to a minimum 96 mnths at £xamount,total repayable=£**,***.** which amounts to more than twice was quoted!!@?!!..question;do i end up paying that total or if i pay it off sooner do i end up paying the original price quoted with no hidden comebacks??has anyone had this"gold account"and been duped into paying double the odds or is it just my over cautious mind?having read mainly negative reviews on this i have become duly cautious.please help,getting a call back in a couple of days to try and sway me.ta.

I had to chuckle reading some of the reviews - my experience of Anglian is, quite literally, unbelievable. I visited this site a couple of days before we were to be visited by a sales rep of Anglian, reading all the very bad reviews I was extremely nervous but continued anyway. The sales rep did give the usual special discount rubbish, 50% off etc etc but was never pushy. Agreed to have all our windows replaced/front/back and patio doors at several thousand punds cheaper than nearest quote. Next came the surveyor who was excellent and very thorough. Everything has now been fitted and am amazed to say i cannot fault anything from start to finish - very happy indeed!!

Well our anglian sales rep just left after wasting an hour and a half of our time. I had a young chap cold call at my house a couple of days ago offering a quote. we had a quote along with three other companies.the anglian rep was terrible.i think he would have stayed all night given the chance.needless to say we picked a local company and are very happy with the job but our problem is trying to get anglian to stop the phone calls.week after week sometimes twice a week we get the same call.i have told each caller that our windows were installed in november and do not require anything else and could they please remove us from their list,but still it goes on and on.sorry to the call centre staff who are getting it in the neck from me now but enough is enough.

I had Anglian Windows install windows and doors , NEVER AGAIN,
first set of windows ALL UNDERSIZED could see DAY LIGHT between brickwall
and windows frame and front door.SECOND SET of windows all oversized and wedged in with NO FIXING AT ALL this has caused several thousand ponds of damage which Anglian Window would not put right despite repeated phone calls /emails /letter/photos/video , they just walked away
saying home owners fault.

Disappointed from Nottingham
Was interested in a conservatory from Anglian Home Improvements.
Read details on their web-site and thought of giving them a chance, despite the negative reports
Saw rep and was given the sales pitch. Was shown the materials to be used and saw pictures in their catalogue. Went to see a show conservatory (which was 12 years old) and wanted to see something more up to date and what was actually in the brochure. Could not find a showroom that had this in. Told the sales rep we would put it on hold until we were happy with what we were going to actually get. Got a lot of abuse, accused of being a time-waster and the phone put down. To their credit the customer care line apologised and the rep later phoned to apologise also. Would not recommend these people to anyone.

ive just had anglian windows install a whole house of windows ,doors and conservatory, the salesman was excellant and explained everything i needed to know to make me happy enough to place the order, i had a few local quotes and found them to be shody frames and locking mechanism,anglian product is bespoke so will fit properly as opposed to trade frames that are off the shelf!! which i had in a previous house that ended up with fogging in the sealed glass, and mould growing on the inside after a few months!!

Anglian supplied their rooftrim product. It's excellent. At the same time they also supplied a front door and a window for my bathroom. The glass in my bathroom window is NOT private. If you are thinking of having your windows & doors from Anglian think again!!! We had all Anglian doors & windows installed at our previous house & we were very happy with them. When we moved to our current house, we chose Anglian again. Big mistake! We had 13 windows, two patio doors & front & back doors replaced. From day one we were unhappy with the quality of the windows & installation. Over time we have had the front door drop, the door frame moves (depending on the weather), an upstairs window frame moves when any pressure is applied, the lounge window is drafty & 'whistles' in windy weather. Now the outside of the letterbox has fallen off (it was only held together with flimsy screws & springs!). Anglian have told us that we'll have to pay £120+ for a new one! Anglian couldn't care less! Our problem!

Never, ever use Anglian. I had a driveway installed a couple of years ago & have had problems with it ever since. It was installed by a small firm of contractors not Anglian's own engineers as I was informed. No membrane was laid & so all the plants which were growing previously have now come through, pushing the block paving apart. It has been over a year trying to get them to come & fix the problem but still no joy despite phone calls twice weekly. They have no customer service whatsoever & are a bunch of cowboys. The original installation was grossly overpriced considering the shoddy workmanship. I am seriously considering legal action as I don't think the damage will be rectified otherwise. I only gave it a 1 star rating as it wouldn't allow me to give no stars!
