Having require double glazing done to the whole house i thought i had found the best deal around from bryco, you hear the ads everywhere, what a mistake !! I must admit after reading some of your comments here i kind of felt lucky, same old story with them not turning up on the expected date until threaten with legal action, and the quality of workmanship appears reasonable until upon close inspection, are you suppose to get draughts throught double glassing ? also there were a few other defects, but hey !! u get what you paid for right ? I had my windows fitted back in 1998 since then I have had problems with doors not shutting window's jammed and gaps between the windows. Very soon after we had our windows installed we requested our 10 guarantee but we were then told the company had gone into liquidation????? How could this be??? I still hear and see advertisement for Bryco??? After endless telephone conversations with Bryco they say 'yes we are a different company they has brought the Bryco name and trade under Bryco but we are not the same company as the company that installed your windows back in 1998 - they have apparently gone into liquidation.....HOW ...  Read the complete review

Our Bryco nightmare & it's not over yet! We had windows fitted by Bryco in September 2001. End September 2002 noticed that the main lounge windows were not closing fully to the frame. Phoned Bryco to request engineer - asked to wait for a call from the repairs section with proposed date of visit. Over next 4-6 weeks called at least once a week to chase as never got a call back. Eventually I called & asked to speak to supervisor & said if didn't receive call that day would be making written complaint. Received a call from booking office within 1 hour. First of all I get a recommendation from a personal friend (in Daventry) to use Bryco – so I do – and they at first don’t agree to do the job as it is out of area. Fine. Then I get a call from Bryco who says they will do it and they send a Sales Manager to my house and I spend an hour of my time (14/02/2003) with him to give me a quote. This (quote of £2364.00) I accept verbally and confirm it by the following Tuesday by signing their presigned contract and sending the required cheques for both the deposit of £236.00 and a warranty cheque for £25.00.
