A Womans Touch = A rip off (Builders)
Member Name: Mavis
Advantages: Professional Disadvantages: Pricing is a joke, upfront payments at 50%, waiting time A Womans Touch - after having lots of builders not turn up, turn up & not give quotes I was pleased with ther professional booking system from A womans Touch. However I did have to wait a month for someone to come out and give a quote and pay them £50 plus VAT for the pleasure. A man turned up and followed me round the flat - wrote some things down but didn't measure anything. How can you quote for tiling or laying floors or building cupboards if you don't know the size?? He then left and I received my quote a few days later. That is when I laughed out loud. It was completly overpriced and he had forgotten to put some items on the list. Eg They quoted £300 to lay 6 rubber floor tiles!! The best bit is they want a 50% deposit upfront before they schedule a meeting with a project manager and then finally they will send the builders round. So shell out the 50% deposit and wait months to get the work done. I have since got a decent builder to give me a normal quote and do a great job. Summary: Professional but an absoulute rip off |
