Do not use Hunter Brookes bathroom and kitchen fitters!

I would just like to warn everyone not to use Hunter Brookes, a bathroom and kitchen company based in Lidlington, Bedfordshire. I have had the worst experience of my life dealing with these people - my job has taken 7 weeks and is still not finished when we were originally told 2.5-3 weeks is all it would take. I have been promised on a number of occasions that my job would be finished that day or for the end of that week, each time has been a lie and I am still waiting.

All of our plumbing has been terrible and needed redoing (shower valve wrong way round, soil pipe pointing up so nothing would drain, no cold on bath valve just hot, leaks due to dodgy piping, ugly pipes showing where they should be behind walls). Part of our tiling was grouted with mastik as they ran out of grout, our carpets are covered in stains, no one has turned up on a number of occassions and when someone does turn up it is rarely for more than a few hours at a time. None of the workers seem to have a clue what they're meant to be doing on a daily basis as management is terrible. It is also absolutely impossible to get hold of anyone at any time. We have text, emailed, called, left voicemails and we still can't get hold of anyone to talk this through.

I would give this company 0 stars if the reviewer would let me - completely appalled with the way we have been treated.
