we desperately needed new windows and doors the wooden one we had were almost falling out,.so we followed advice and set out to get three quotes, having endured 2 long tedious evenings of listening to 2 hard sell salesmen, if you sign tonight, this offer ends tonight etc... to the point of having to ask them to leave, then being constantly phoned, we were not looking forward to the 3rd quote from safestyle. what a surprise , the safestyle salesman turned up ( no flashy car or over the top suit ) just an average salesman friendly and polite, actually we had quite a laugh. we explained that we were not at all interested in finance and that we just want a price for our windows. that is exactly what we got. 4 weeks later we had our windows installed, they told us it would probably take 2 days it took 1, the 3 fitters we had were hard working and friendly. on completion of the job we had a call from head office to ask if we were completly satisfied, which we were, then and only then did we hand the money over. a couple of weeks later one of our french doors started sticking and a couple of windows started to stick, i rang customer services, a week later an engineer called round and sorted it out.
also i need to add that with safestyle they advised that we should keep to they same amount of openers as we originally had ( whereas others suggested cutting down to save money ) they also insisted on fire escapes on all upstairs windows. ( this wasn't even mentioned with other companies...
all in all we are very happy, they wern't the cheapest they were middle but we just followed our instinct with the sales pitch ( not too over the top )
so next time you see that awful advert with cannon and ball and you are considering double glazing we would say get them round for a quote.

Summary: i would recommend safestyle even though they are not that well known in the south.
