National Double Glazing firms who don't turn up for appointments! (Double Glazing in General)
Member Name: TG
Advantages: None - if they don't bother to show up Disadvantages: No service It appears that national Double Glazing companies can't always be bothered to turn up for appointments. I am currently looking to replace 4 windows in my house and booked visits from 4 DG companies - 2 national and 2 local. Neither of the 2 national companies bothered to turn up for the visits or even phone me to advise that they would not be coming. I contacted one of them - Staybrite and asked why. No expanation was forthcoming. It has been suggested to me that perhaps my 'job' was too small for them. If that is the case, when I contacted them to arrange a visit and specifically mentionned that I had only 4 windows to replace, it would have been nice if they had said it wasn't the job for them at that time. Instead, I rushed home from work and had to pass an important project to a colleague to be at home in time for their visits. Summary: For small jobs (4 windows) - use local companies |
