Disadvantages: Poor workmanship, missed appointments, no callbacks, non existent customer service.

Don't use this company as they are an absolute shambles from start to finish.

Went to their showroom in Ayr to order a back door several months ago. They took our telephone number down incorrectly (allegedly!) which was their initial excuse for not calling back but they managed to contact us when they were looking for payment?

I have now made over 30 calls to them and only received a callback twice.

5 appointments for an engineer were missed with reasons/excuses ranging from "the engineer was bitten by a dog and had to go to hospital" or " the appointment was for another day" or "the engineer left the company this morning".

But never a call to inform of any of these missed appointments.

Every time you call them to discuss the faults you speak to a different person who asks all the same details and they never have any record of our door being fitted or any other calls we have made to them.

Promised callbacks and appointments are missed constantly and never happen and my wife and I have now taken 6 days holiday for various visits which never materialsed. They never turned up for the original fitting and you guessed it, no call to let us know or explain why! It was done 8 days later. The engineer who fitted the door has since left the company.

Their customer service and customer focus is non existent.

Eventually we got an engineer out to look at the various faults and 3.5 weeks later the paperwork hasn't been handed in by the engineer or had been lost, therefore no parts ordered.

I was promised a callback today, never happened so I called them and still no further forward as I speak. This is all over a few months and still the faults persist.

Scratches and dents on the outside panel and edges, screws jutting out(sharp end) from the sash, bracket on frame not flush and rides up so the catch on the lock cannot fit in so cannot lock the door, drain holes have no plastic covers over them, top hinge missing a washer or grommet so you can wiggle the door about, handle loose and wobbly.

I am now waiting on a call tomorrow with a full action plan and news that a new panel, sash and hinge have been ordered, maybe they will come in time for Xmas eh?

Please, spend your money elsewhere, this review is no exaggaration.

AVOID!!
