Advantages: Cheaper than some competitors
Disadvantages: Appalling after sales customer service, some shabby workmanship
Do not use Framemaker Trade Outlet Ltd. Once the Managing Director has banked your cheque you will never get to speak to him again! His number is not given out and he won`t ring you back. Even if he is in the office when you ring he will not come to the phone!
I have waited nearly two months, with various unreturned calls, missed appointments to get them to come back and finish the job! A three day job took five days, as they regularly turned up 11am! Then, they rushed on the last day, leaving some shabby workmanship.
Despite claiming to be, I am told they are not members of IPWFI!

- 25/02/08 Framemaker Trade Outlet Ltd is a respectable company! As you can see this member has kept themselves antonymous so I am not able to deal with any of there problems! All problems that are reported over the telephone to our company are dealt with within the next week as we send out our remedial engineer every Wednesday to deal with any problems customers are having. if the problem is not dealt with that day we will re-appoint for the following Wednesday!
As for speaking to the Managing Director I am not able to give anyone hes mobile number when he is out of the office as this is his private line! Any notes of customers left on his desk are dealt with when he is next in the office because is is out off the office most days with customers he is hard to tie down! I am able to be spoken to about any problems customer are having but some customers are not satisfied even when I am able to deal with any telephone complaint by giving them a date and time for the remedial engineer to visit there property!
All fitting date are given to customers over the telephone then are confirmed by a letter in the post. In this letter we state how many day we are going to be fitting for! The fitting and completion dates are given in good faith and although we will make every possible effort to ensure your job is fitted on the dates specified we can not be held responsible for any unforeseen problems leading to delay. These unforeseen problems could be for example the weather. If we are delayed it is for a day at the most we have never been any later! Also when giving a fit date to a customer over the telephone we state that the fitters will be there between the hours of 8am - 10am, this is because it depend on which fitting team that loads first and whether they have to pick up and tools or trimmings. If the fitter is going to be any later a member of staff telephones the customer to say how long the fitter will be!
We actually were with IPWFI but as we have changed from FENSA (regulations contractor) to CERTASS (regulations contractor) we have also changed over to QA which is the equivalent to IPWFI but has a better service for both customers and company's. We have also changed over to CERTASS for the same reasons. The company does exactly the same as FENSA but as I have stayed there service is much better and so are there guarantees.
Th is complaint is the first we have ever had over an Internet review site and are quite applaud at what as been said as we have worked really hard to build our hardworking family run business. Framemaker is a respectable company that has been up and running for 4 years and have fitters that have had over 30 years experience! We are only a small company and intend to stay that was so we can give our customers the service they deserve
