I have just priced my own Double glazing (including fitting) and i didnt even have to put up with a salesman!!!!!
This has to be a first.
I was watching a rerun of DIYSOS, and found myself lead to this website:
www.diyupvc.com, and here i found how to price Double glazing without all the hassle.
I had to give them a call to find out how to measure, but they said i could do this from inside so i didnt even have to go up a ladder. The online THINGY!!! gave me the window prices and even calculated how much the fitting costed me.
Once i had sorted my price the company phoned and asked a few questions this meant my price went up by £25.00 which was something i had forgot on the door (a letter box). Once we agreed the price they then came to visit to take correct sizes. EASY!!!!! Hope you find this of interest.
