For over a year I have experienced problems with Greenway Home Improvements, Mr Andrew Green, Mrs Lucianne Green and their associates relating to a Porch and Conservatory, that Greenway were employed to construct. Both projects have been paid for in full in the early part of 2011.

Here are some of the problems I have experienced with Greenway:-

Greenways have deceived my family out of money, etc.

Greenway fitted the wrong specification of roofing glazing, clear glazing not blue glazing. Yet, Greenway charged for the dearer blue glass.

The company have left a considerable amount of holes in the structure of my conservatory. This allows draughts in and artificial heat out. My family were told by one of Greenway fitters (Andy) Greenway don't seal all the conservatories they construct.

The company has refused to reinforce the porch foundations, as per contract. Yet, charged my family for the work.

I have allowed Greenway (Mr Andrew Green, Greenway fitters, an employee of Glass Systems [one of the Greenway's suppliers]) on numerous occasions, back into my family home to rectify the problems. Only to be lied to, again and again. Also Greenway fitters caused damage to the conservatory.

Greenway used misleading logos on their paperwork. On the paperwork Greenway displayed the EST logo, BBA logo and the BM TRADA logo. Organisations informed me Greenway was using the logos illegally.
Mr Andrew Green also went as far as to fabricate a job within the EST. Mr Andrew Greens statement;-

Quote
"I've just become an Installer Member to the EST"

Yet it was confirmed by the EST that:-

Quote
"The Energy Saving Trust does not currently operate such a certification scheme."

Greenway has also threatened me with a solicitor's letter to stop me from telling people of my experiences with Greenway. Yet Trading Standards have informed me that I have the every right to review companies that I have dealt with.

Mrs Lucianne Green Managing Director has attempted to charge for work and products that had either been paid for or should have been covered by the company's guarantee.

Mr Andrew Green, the Managing Director of Greenway has stipulated I must not be in my own home; also my family's CCTV is to be turned off, whilst Greenway fitters are present. This has been recently confirmed to me in writing by the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF).

The Advertising Standards Authority has been involved on two separate occasions regarding Greenway false advertising. Greenway was instructed to amend their advertisement, not to mislead the consumer.

Summary: Greenway Home Improvements deceived my family out of money and will not honour the guarantee.
