Advantages: good product, good installers

Disadvantages: sales people, price game!

After being bombarded by tele-sales people for years we finally gave in and looked forward to being to see the view we had not been able to see since buying the house ten years previously! Misted panes goodbye.... Although the sales people from the company were a real pain this was no different from the sales people of any doubleglazing firm.. so we invited the 'rep' or consultant as they prefer to be called to the house. She was young, inexperienced and smelled of ciggies! She made several errors in calculating the price and left out costings for such things as scaffolding and strengthening struts.... Ah well.

The deal was done - half the price originally quoted - after much consulting on the phone.

So- that part of the process was dreadful.

However the important part - the installation and product was excellent. The fitters were polite - did not use foul language, did not stop for lunch and worked from 9 in the morning to 7.30 in the evening on three days.

The house now looks 100% better, is 50% quieter from road noise, and is far less draughty. We are still waiting for heavy rain to test that part.

So there we have it - sales people 0 - installers and product 99!
