My heartache started in october 2003 when i called in a couple of firms to change my windows to my dormers and to clad them. I also wanted to replace my front door and add a porch to it. The first firm that gave me a quote was safestyle windows. I decided to ask people about them and most people said they were not very good. I had a mixed reaction about them, so i decided to use this website to check out the reviews about safestyle and was horrified to learn how bad a service they were providing.
The next week i had a quote from two other firms, but were quite costly. My final quote was from premier windows uk.They are situated in brick lane mills, Thornton road, Bradford 7.
I accepted their quote for two reasons firstly they were local, secondly they were cheaper than the other quotes.
Premier windows said they would start work on the second week of october 2003 but no one turned up, i called them and was given an excuse and was told they would definitely be starting work the following week. I once again waited but no one turned up. once again i had to ring them up to ask what their excuse was because they did not have the decency to tell me once again i was given the excuse that not all the fittings had arrived but would be ready in the second week of november. At the end of november i decided to call in personally to see the proprieter mr.Noor Hussain and ask him why he had taken a £1000 deposit off me and not started work, he gave me the excuse that they were very busy and that one of their vans had gone in for some major repais and that was the reason for the delays.
Work started on the third week of november. Hurray.... The dormer windows were replaced to the front of my property and i had to wait another two weeks for the windows at the rear to be replaced by now it was christmas and the excuse was that everone was on holiday and the work to replace the front door and porch would start in the new year 2004.
It is now april , the windows

have been replaced but the locks don`t work on 3 of them this was reported to the manager but as yet i am still waiting for somone to come and repair them. The front door needed to be adjusted 5 times and is still not right. The porch was built 8 inches too close to the inner door instead, of being flush with the outside stone work. The excuse was that the roof inside the porch area would collapse if they moved it to be flush with the stone work. I have since got them to move it and HEY PRESTO the roof has not fallen. What a load of rubbish these guys will give you.
There is mastic all over the glass and they have not even bothered to take the plastic covering off on the windows. My name is still printed in black felt pen. They have not even bothered to clean this off. All my carpets are dirty because they did not put any covers on them. I am still waiting for them to do the claddind but am sick of their pathetic excuses.
I written a letter to mr. Hussain giving him 7 days notice to rectify all faults and finish off the work or else i will have no option but to take court proceedings against him. It has been 10 days and i have had no reply from him.
I have finally made an appointment with a solicitor to take county court proceedings against PREMIER WINDOWS UK.
My advice to anyone thinking about using this firm is dont let them in your front door. They are a bunch of liers and cowboys. BEWARE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. I would like to hear from anyone els who has used this cowboy company.
