Double Glazing in General Reviews

The UPVC Door Company. I was somewhat puzzled by a previous review of the above company which gave a negative review. In the interests of fairness I must say that the service I got from this firm was the best by far we have ever had from a glazing or door company (and we have had a few cowboys). We had French doors fitted through the Blantyre showroom, and everything went like clockwork, from the showroom staff, measurer and fitters we had nothing but courtesy and efficiency. If other door companies took a leaf out of the UPVC Door Company's book, there would be less unhappy customers around. A great service, superb range and excellent prices. Well Done lads!

After a quote from Angian for £16,00 (down from £30,000 in a hard three hour evening) we had a quote from Crystal for £9500. The windows were installed this week by two superb workmen who made no mess at all and didn't even stop for lunch. The windows and french doors are absolutely fantastic and I can't rate this company high enough. I was very worried about having them installed and ruining the decor but every thing went marvellously well. I can't praise the company enough.

They are right up there with Arnold Clark!!!!!

My own plight began when it was discovered the windows leaked. In short, i was told that it was due to extreme weather conditions and thats something they couldnt resolve. The Windows leaked in normal weather coniditions. Trying to get them to come out has been utter hastle, and in the end up had to contract someone else to do the repair which was a 5 minute job. Months on failing to show, and rediculous exchange of letters - why didnt they just come out and fix them, after all, i was only asking them to do this! DISSAPOINTED

I paid for my door from UPVC Door Co with a new credit card. No purchases on it except UPVC, within three days, five catalogue purchases appeared on my statement. I contacted catalogue company but under data protection act they could only tell me that an account with MY card details was opened under an address in Blantyre. Where are UPVC? Blantyre. Work it out for yourselves!!!!

Excellent door company and excellent pricing of the front door that I had installed. I recently had a double glazed dooor fitted by the UPVC Door Company and the workmanship was excellent. QUICK GROUP EAST KILBRIDE NOT RECOMMEDED
I PURCHESED 2 DOORS FROM THIS COMPANY.AFTER THEY WERE INSTALLED,I NOTICED A PROBLEM WITH 1 OF THEM.I PHONED CUSTOMERS SERVICE TO FIND THEY WERENT INTERESTED,AND THERE PHONE MANNER WAS SHOCKING. THE MANAGER SUGGESTED I FIXED THIS PROBLEM MYSELF WITH A SCREWDRIVER AND WHEN I REFUSED,HE WAS ABRUPT AND RUDE TO ME. Hi there, i have to say that my husband and i found the door company one of the best out of them all, price, quality and most importantly the service, we went to the new showroom in stirling as it 10mins up the room, nice big showroom with lots of lovely designs, the sowroom manager Kevin couldnt of been more helpful, very friendly, nothing was a problem from ordering the new front and back doors to getting them fitted, the nice man jim came out to measure, on time and very polite, very happy and have recommended kevin to friends and family, all because of the service that was provided to us, thanks again, keep up the good work.

Ordered 6 windows on the 11th of sept at there Hillington showroom for a price of £1795 and they were fitted on the 1st of October by 2pm No Fuss No Mess No Problems ....
This is the 3 rd time i have used this Company and have and would recomend them again ..

We've just had Zenith rep here for our 2nd quote - took 3 1/2 hrs. Basically we've been fed a load of inaccuracies about the quality of materials and construction methods of 'other d/glazing companies' in comparison to Zenith. When I went back to compare them with the 1st company (Shaws Glass, Horsham) they were fully aware of Zenith's tactics and assured us that the info we'd been given was wrong! In addition, Zenith were over £2K dearer than our local company even with 'show home discount.' They say 'they're not hard sell' but that wasn't our experience. Our advice - stay bright and stay clear - of Zenith.

I would like to reccomend comfort windows from the luton area. They were very friendly from start to finish and were extremely neat and tidy inside and outside. We were over the moon with the windows themselves and the finishing and were most impressed with finishing. My husband found them on the yellow pages website about 4 years ago, they have worked on our old, the house we are currently in and if we move again we will certainly call tem in again. keep up the good work lads!

I unfortunately purchased windows and doors from the Quick Group and within weeks of the installation the doors and windows were leaking and draughty. I'd like to say a few words about Conservatoryland because we were so impressed. We ordered a brochure from conservatoryland.com. They delivered my conservatory a couple of weeks after ordering it and within a week we were sat in it eating our tea and watching tv. It was easy to order and fit and the quality is brilliant.
