If this is the same Regency windows company registered in the south west of england in a large city just of the M5 near the M4 Interchange. Please be very certain you actually want this company to go ahead with the build. Do not sign to "Agree on the price" on the day that the salesman comes round to "Give you a quote." You may ... Having looked at 3 or 4 different glazing suppliers, I was persuaded that Everest windows were a premium product, that the customer services would at least as good as any other company and that the additional cost would be worth-while. I also went for the roofline, guttering etc. I was wrong. 1. The 'on time, every time' ... Read the complete review

We live by the side of a busy A road and wanted the best double glazing money could buy. So we choose Everest. We paid over £6,000 for 5 windows 4ft x 4ft and a door. We paid £300 extra for 12mm glass for added sound proofing. This price was discounted by 45% so should have been £11,000 On day of fitting they fitted a cracked window but ... I recently found myself out of work and found an advert: "Own your own car? Earn £600 a week!" I rang the number, got interviewed by the recruiter and decided to go on the 5 day training course- hey it was free, if I didn't like it I'd not wasted any money myself at least. Having done the training and ... Read the complete review

Anyone living in Scotland , or perhaps North of England, would have found it hard to miss the adverts put out by the aforesaid UPVC Door company of Blantyre , Lanarkshire recently. You get the picture - no hidden costs, nothing to pay until totally satisfied etc etc. - adverts on the TV ,1/2 pagers in the Sunday , pictures of shiny upvc ... Read the complete review

We are currently looking to replace our front and back doors and have been asking local firms to provide us with quotes. This was my experience of Regency Windows. My heartache started in october 2003 when i called in a couple of firms to change my windows to my dormers and to clad them. I also wanted to replace my front door and add a porch to it. The first firm that gave me a quote was safestyle windows. I decided to ask people about them and most people said they were not very good. I had a mixed reaction ... Read the complete review

Last year my house was reposessed from its last owners and I sprang into action. It has always been my house but it just belonged to someone else over the 6 years it has been built. Just a brief cautionary tale if you are thinking of purchasing double glazing... We needed, not wanted new windows and doors. The old ones were held in place by the amount of woodlice nesting in them. So who do you call. Ask around and people soon tell you to steer clear of the big boys, and indeed the message is the same here. (although Ill come back to safe style in a moment). So i ... Read the complete review

We decided to replace our front door and patio door with Everest products. However the whole process has been like pulling teeth. The original installation was very poor, and our home was left in an absolute mess, there was dust and glue everywhere, plaster and cement splashed up the walls and over the floors. The doors had been fitted ... Read the complete review

Some months ago when my partner and I first started looking for double glazing we decided to have 3 quotes from well known national companies. The first was from EVEREST and 3 hours later and at over £10, 000 we were seriuosly going off the idea. I've always carried out my business on a handshake. I agree to carry out any work and on completion I expect my customers to pay me for what I've done. This system based on mutual trust has never failed me yet. Call me naive (or even stupid) if you wish, but I expect other companies to act with the same level of trust and ... As a Rep for a very reputable double glazing company, one you will find no complaints about, i am coming across a lot of people who keep insisting on looking for the cheaper quote, it may seem the natural thing to do, but it can be a huge mistake. The main thing to worry about, is the company you are going to do business with, not the ... Read the complete review

INTRODUCTION Conservatories. Glazing. That awful telephone call. Many people refuse to entertain the idea of having a conservatory simply because it means you have to invite salesmen to your house. I would like to add my comments about my absolutely dreadful experience with Coldseal. We asked them to construct a conservatory in July 2001 costing close to £15000.
