Advantages: Loads for families

Whenever you are in a small town in the Lake District called Barrow in Furness you might consider bringing any children you have to Furness Funhouse. Situated in the town centre there is a wide range of facilities available.
The Funhouse has a childs play area for children upto approximately 12years of age, there is a height restriction of 4ft 9in.
There is a special padded area for under threes with a small ball pool and slide and large soft animals to play with.
Fot threes and over there is a large frame structure with a very big ball pool, a medium and big slide, and various punch bags and rollers the children really love.
The piece dela resitance however is the double bouncy castle, with a large entrance to two castles there lots of serious bouncing to be done!!
For the parents there is a refreshments bar selling soup, sandwiches, pot noodles, hot and cold drinks, crips, swwets and various other snacks. There are also complimentary newspapers and magazines.
All served by friendly staff.
The prices start at £1.00 for half an hour, £1.50 for an hour. Whilst the children have to be accompanied to use the funhouse there are creche facilites available.
The service is offered for £2.50 if you pre-book and £3.00 if you attend on the day. For this you have an hour with qualified staff who will be with your child at all times, whilst you get on with shopping etc. There are many activites on offer from playdough, colouring, building blocks, jigsaws and many more activities, even large very comfortable cushions to lounge and read on or take a nap.
The staff will take the children onto the funhouse equipment and will play games with them, the staff are guided by the children's decisions so they can do as they please, all for making a more comfortable environment.
For older children whom this may not appeal to, they can pop upstairs to the skating rink.
For a very reasonable price of £1.50 they can skate for an hour, skates includ
ed and there are also available helmets and body guards which are advisable for the ramps and grinding posts.
There is also a shop selling all the latest in skate gear from clothing, protection, equipment, skates and the new mini scooters. This is also the Uk supplier for Roxa gear so lots available for sports fanatics.

All in all plenty available so next time you are holidaying in the Lakes come and give us a visit for an enjoyable and relaxing time in a very friendly environment!!
