How do you get spoken to when you ring your Doctors? Do you have an appointment system in operation at your surgery? Do you have a Doctors on call operating in your area? If your answer is yes then read on.

I rang my Doctors about 5.30pm on Tuesday this week so I could go and see the Doctor. I was told there was no appointments until Monday morning. I was too ill to wait that long and explained I needed to see the Doctor that day. I was asked wher I had been all day, and that the Doctor is very busy, and basically to wait for the appointment.

Eventually I did get to see the Doctor although I had to wait over 2 hours in the surgery, which I didn't mind as it was late. I kept getting TUT, AHH! look at these people still here from the receptionist and cleaner as I waited. But the receptionist soon spoke differently when I came out as she had to ring the hospital as i had to go in.

who do the receptionists think they are? They are not the Doctors, and I for one am glad. I know they do take a lot of stick, but if they are spoken to nice then they should be nice in return.

I hate going to the Doctors incase this one receptionist is on, it is sad when I would rather be ill then confront her and argue to get to see the Doctor. Anybody would think she payed for it all.
