Advantages: saves loads of money

I love my local library. I could not be with out it. I go at least once a week and borrow at least 4 books(You can take up to 8 out). The might be just enough to keep me going depends on which other of my hobbies I have on the go. I also will start my OU degree in February so reading for pleasure may well become a thing of the past.

My local library is about a 6 minute walk from where I live. It is tiny little library but the staff are so nice. And they seem to have lots of my favorite author at the moment Clive Cussler. So I am ok for the moment.

You can keep the books for up to 3 weeks and they can be re-newed via phone. They also have 3 computers that you can book for internet access as well as a photocopier.

Reading has always been a pleasure and the library has save me hundreds if not thousands of pounds over the last few years. As I could read for England. I only buy books that I really want to keep. (Also helps living in a small flat so I have no space) If I do buy books I buy second hand from charity shops. And If I do not want to keep them I donate the to the library. As always know that they are strapped for case.

So remember if you are having a clear out and find loads of books that are in good conditions donate they to the library they will always say thank you. The same goes for CD's as well. If you can not sell then donate them.

Use it as you will lose it.
