Ours was quite a tricky job and not one that many windows companies wanted to take on as we have a 15th cottage with wattle and daub walls. My wife had read some excellent reviews on another site about the manchester window factory and I found them on this site after a little more homework. I can honestly say that we were more than a little apprehensive when looking for a reputable firm to carry out the work for us, so we did a lot of research first before inviting anyone round. Without question, Danny and his brother Alex stood out from the crowd. Firstly in their not insisting that both my wife and I were in at the same time to quote, although to be honest we wanted to be as we always make the big decisions together. Next was the fact that when Danny called to visit he knew exactly what was required in order to give the best possible finish to our awkward walls and explained exactly how they would propose to do the job. He then showed us a sample product which is of the highest quality and worked out the price for us whilst he was here. The price was a little more than we had expected but we were more than happy that they would complete the project to a very high standard as they have their own employed window fitters. The price was emailed to us and we thought it over for a couple of days before calling to place the order. Within 48 hours, Bob the surveyor called to survey the work and he booked us in for an installation date some 4 weeks later. Mark and Lee turned up at 8am on the agreed day to fit the windows and they got straight to work and didn't leave each evening until they had left the place clean and tidy. The work took a total of 5 days and went swimmingly. We paid on completion and within 2 weeks received our insurance backed warranty and document L, A rated certificate as promised. We would dearly love to have a conservatory, however this is a listed building and not possible. If we do move and my wife wants one at the new place we won't hesitate to call Danny and Alex in again. Thank you for a job well done and for looking after us and our home throughout the process.
