I work for a pest control unit in Belfast.I am employed by Belfast City Council they have their own pest control department.The service is great that wee provide to the people of Belfast.The pest control service we provide is free. Well for rats and mice and the usual pests we treat for free.The only thing is not free is wasps nests and bed bugs stuff like that ,but then they are not as common as rats and mice. About ten years ago my hubby and I bought a run down café, it was a bit of a greasy spoon but we planned to get it scrubbed out and turn it into a really good sandwich shop. The price was right and it had a reasonable trade despite being run down. We took over one Friday afternoon and then spent the entire weekend scrubbing and de-greasing the place. It was late March at work when I suddenly began scratching my legs around the ankle region. At first I didn't take any notice until some black ants began appearing on my desk. Initially it was just an infrequent straggler but it got to a point where the back of my note book resembled an insect graveyard. This opinion is regarding pest control services provided by the local Council. Not everyone realises that this is an option available to them when dealing with pests, so that is why I have written the opinion. It’s hard to write a long opinion about pest control and I’ve written as much as possible. I just wanted to post this up, so that anyone thinking that they have to pay a fortune to a pest control company can be relieved that the local Council may be able to help them and without charge.
