Newest Review: ... a fault and said he would come back the next day with the part which I had to pay for up front. Was charged full hour, £95 + vat. Engineer arrived next day much later than agreed. Spent an hour trying to fit the part, was unable to. Said it would be easier to instal a new boiler. He said he would put everything back as before. When he had finished he said "All done" so I signed off. After he had gone I found I had no central heating. So now I have a useless boiler and am £344 worse off. Had a problem with my boiler. No hot water when central heating was off. Phoned PGS. Thy sent an engineer who spent half an hour diagnosing a fault and said he would come back the next day with the part which I had to pay for up front. Was charged full hour, £95 + vat. I had a very bad experience with Able group. Called them to fix leak in my toilet cistern. The engineer came did the work and said it was sorted. After he left I noticed it was still leaking. Called the company again, the engineer came (not on the agreed date but the day after without informing about the delay). He and his colleague worked on it again, said it was now sorted. And again when they left it was still leaking. Customer service is rude, complaint resolution is horrible. Do not go with this company! Waste of time and waste of money!!

Plumbers from H2 have installed shower pumps at our property twice in the past few years incorrectly. The first pump failed out of warranty so we replaced it and the second pump then failed within a few months of being installed. When we discussed the installation with the shower pump manufacturer (Salamander), they said that the installer had clearly not followed the instructions in the pump installation guide and that the pump had as a result been installed wrongly for two reasons, one of which was serious, and they therefore denied responsibility under their warranty. NIGHTMARE! For gods sake use Dynorod instead. Firstly ASPECT came on the wrong day but charged me a callout anyway. Then the guy came but his jet wash was broken. They charged me anyway. Thirdly, a guy came at the wrong time when were were open to the public. They charged me. (I had explained the times to 3 different people). Finally a guy came and as far as I was concerned, he jetted the pipes, charged me and all was well. £320 was taken from my card and after A LOT of phone calls and emails, they credited some back, but not as much as I expected. I have recently had a boiler problem so I contacted PGS plumbers which says it's local but actually they are not, to come and have a look. they charged more than £100 per hour including VAT. They did not find the problem straight away I ended up paying much more than I should, over £500 and after three weeks my boiler was worse than it was. They are apparently realible but they are not! They just rip any client off. I will never use them again and also I do not recommend them. If you need a plumber, get someone you know or have been recommended, that's my advice!
