Advantages: None at all.
Disadvantages: Don't fix anything - Don't turn up on time - NO CLUE
NPower Home Team - DREADFUL service DO NOT USE
We moved into a new house in July knowing that some of the appliances etc were not entirelyunctional. One problem we knew about was that the heating didn't work. So, in early august I contacted a number of plumbers to get a quote for repair.
Npower fofered two options - a pay as you go service, or a fixed price repair for £195. I chose this option as they "guaranteed" to repair any problem up to a maximum parts cost of £600.
The guy that came out was very pleasant, assessed the problem and said he'd come back with a quote.
SEVEN visits and THREE MONTHS later it's still not fixed.
On every occasion they have (somehow) managed to source the wrong part from the manufacturers. It's a simple valve and they keep getting the wrong one.
Upon enquiring there are apparently 3 different versions manufactured. So ours must be one of the three.
HOW HAVE THEY MANAGED TO COME SEVEN TIMES WITH THE WRONG PART.
In addition, 7 pm apparently constitutes a morning visit.
Incompetence doesn't even begin to describe this service.
If I could give them a negative star rating I would.
Totally useless.
AVOID.
