Safestyle UKNewest Review: ... front of the house. In otherworld's to have the same standard throughout would cost. I then asked what guarantee would be offered on their product,? was it a company guarantee or would it be insurance based?. Again it was explained with clarity that it was a 10 year company guarantee, something that started alarm bells ringing, as in today's climate what company could be sure of being in ... more |

I had safestyle uk visit today 28 October 2009 As I had requested a quote from them. Over the years and especially in today's climate when you have to be on your guard , I have developed the technique of writing down a list of questions that I wish to ask. On the arrival of the representative I thought it only right to let him know of my intentions, of not only getting a quote from them ,but it was also my intention to invite other companies to tender quotes too. One of the first questions I asked was how does the buy one get one free work?, as I truly believe that nothing in this life is free. He had no hesitation in explaining that you only get what you pay ... Read the complete review

I was initially impressed by some quotes we were given, and once we had signed up , we were told that the salesman had told us we could have windows we couldn't have and so the surveyor had to note this down - Steve in the Crawley office then rang to tell me that our quote was going up by £1000 as the salesman had not noticed that our windows used to be box sashes (I have spoken to several other double glazers since and this increase in cost for just 3 windows is apparently ridiculous!). I had already decided not to go with them after the survey as they had clearly been unable to provide the salesman with enough training to recognise this issue - Steve also told me that ... Having read the reviews on this site, many of which were not particularly in praise of Safestyle, it was with some trepidation we awaited arrival of the fitters with our windows yesterday. The windows are now installed in our sun room, the fitters were courteous and the work was carried out efficiently and neatly. We are very pleased with the end result - there was a slight hiccup with a cill which had been cut to the wrong length, but that was dealt with quickly and the fitters came again this morning to install the correct length. The windows have transformed the room and we are looking forward to cozy winter days in a room which previously we've not been able to ... Read the complete review

The whole process from start to finish has been pleasurable, the salesman was not at all pushy, was more than helpful and gave us a very competitive quote. We proceeded, and were called within a week to bring the fitting date forward. six windows, two patio doors and a front door were all fitted yesterday, workmen arrived just after 8 and left at four taking all of the rubbish with them and cleaning up the mess to a decent standard (I didn't expect them to leave it spotless!) We are really happy with the product, it exudes quality and has already made a huge difference to the house in terms of noise, light and heat. We would highly recommend them to others (as we have ...
