They rescheduled for 1 week on the Friday afternoon after so I could wait for them without having to take time off work as I finish at lunch on Fridays. Friday afternoon arrived as I dutifully ensured the cats were safely stored away from noise, laid down dust sheets etc. After a couple of hours of waiting, the phone rang and it was the controller once again...he said it would now be Saturday morning at 9am if that was ok? I agreed. Only pleased that they would eventually have my door fit. At 8 am, I prepared the house once again for them and waited...and waited...... more

I couldn't believe the price for a new front door- however the salesman told me how very amazing the door was and how the fire brigade even had trouble breaking them down...not reallly something one wants to hear! I did, after some careful consideration agree to have the door fit before I would decide on them quoting for the the windows...and I am soooo glad I waited! In the first instance, I booked time off work to stay at home for them, only for the installation controller to cancel and apologise profusely. "It happens" I thought. Having seen the adverts on the TV 'buy one get one free' concept we decided to ask Safestyle to quote for replacement windows and patio door. The salesman arrived with samples in tow and proceeded to tell us all about their wonderful specifications etc, ie not other company can supply this that or the other. We eventually got to the point of pricing and low and behold the price given was £22,000. Now, considering we only live in a small detatched house with 11 small ish window it was a bit of a surprise. Nevertheless within a couple of minutes he had bought the price down to a pricely sum of £16,000.. I told him that was ridiculous and so he phoned his manager for advice Read the complete review

How Safestyle work is this they want a signature there and then on the night the reason for this is the salesmen only get paid on commission no sale salesman does not get paid. The salesman will have a price guide look at this the prices in this guide are very silly but do not worry. They will tell you they do 3 types of windows the top of the range is priced very silly 33k per window they do not want to sell this then the A range or diamond range then the C grade bottom of the range. They will tell you that this is the buy one get one free window it is not the offer is on the Diamond A rated window as well. They do 3 quotes to tell you that you have had 3 quotes. The ... Wouldn't even bother getting a quote from them in future. I twice had sales people in to measure & quote & twice had a conversation stating that safety glass was needed. 2 days after paid £60 for the survey, they rang and stated quote was wrong and upped price by £150 for 2 windows as they required "safety glass". Disgusting underhand tactics to get you to sign contract!!!! Mislead to believe quote was for satey glass as this is required "by law" so why not include it in the price.
