Disadvantages: Apalling Sales Tactics, Prey on the Vulnerable, Bore you senseless
The Salesmen use high-pressure tactics designed to prey on the naive and vulnerable. I fear for the older generation.
They spend ages comparing thier windows with competitors and tell outright lies about the competition (I very carefully compared manufacturing detail).
At the end of it all they give you a price about 4xmarket rate designed for you to haggle them down. I got quoted £2300 for a Front Door and haggled them down to £500 plus £70 survey fee by simply telling them thats all I could raise. But I had to sign up that night and pay the £70 which of course I refused. I promised that before I parted with a penny of my hard earned that I would check out thier reputation on consumer web sites.
I finally managed to get a fair job for a fair price from a local company Yorkshire Windows. I simply asked for what I wanted, the chap gave me my options and then quite simply gave me a fairly priced quote. The job was done in about 3 weeks and I simply could not fault them.
This sort of transaction is not what Safestyle UK are after instead they want to blind you with science and confuse and befuddle you so that you pay way over the odds and to add insult to injury sign up to long term finance plans.
Dont get Conned! Save up the cash in the 1st place and then shop around for a good deal.
