We had our windows and doors fitted in December 1999. Since then we have had to call out the engineer on seven separate occasions. Shortly after the installation we noticed the wallpaper was stained round the edge of the newly fitted window. Since then the back door would not lock, there was a whistling sound in the front window when it was windy, the lintel over the patio door was caving in, the kitchen window would not shut properly, the letter box in the front door leaked, resulting in damaged mail. Finally (we hope) the patio door would not shut properly. We now find ourselves waiting for the next fault to occur.

Summary: I have no confidence in the company and regret buying from them.

We had trouble with our safestyle windows, and a few years later when we had some building work done we found out they had removed a lintel abouve our bedroom window to get the window in! it cost us £500 to put it right! I do like our windows and to be honest they are not bad quality...How was your sales man? Ours was horrendous and he simply refused to go until we signed on the dotted line, and of course on hindsight I realise we had 48 hours or whatever it is to cancel
