In 2005 I had Safestyle out to install my windows after loosing a deposit with Coldseal when they went bust. Safestyle moved the installation date from November 2004 to January 2005. I had to have 3 surveys carried out for one reason or another and then when they finally arrived the windows were either to small or to big. In some cases by as much as 4 inches. See all the pictures at www.shamble-style co.uk where I have documented the whole thing. I live in a cottage and for obvious reasons want to retain that look. I had nice solid oak sills and expressed to safestyle that I want to keep it the way it is but with there windows. They came along and put grey cement around the edges against saidstone cement. Looks really good. NOT and ripped out my oak sills only to try to replace them with MDF laminated with oak. I had a window fall out when they left. The wall around the windows most of the plaster was removed. Under one of the windows I have a gap big enough to put a letter box in and so it all continues. Today I am still going through a legal battle with them as I have withheld payment under the Supply of Goods & Services Act.
