Waste of everybody's time (Safestyle UK)

We had a quotation from Safestyle from a salesman who took 3 hours to measure up and pretend to do his sums, phone his boss to authorise a discount twice, all the tricks seen on Rogue Traders and the like. Anyway, the price seemed to good to be true. We later found out that it was because the salesman hadn't realised that the job would be more problematic as we have box sash windows. We arranged for an area manager to come to review the situation but he didn't turn up, no phone call to let us know. Since then I have received several calls from other Safestyle salesmen wanting to give us a quote. The right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing, an that's when they are trying to sell! Imagine what would happen if you had a problem following installation! Dreadful service. Use a local firm that trade on reputation instead.
