Advantages: If you want to off-load loads of cash for no reason at all.

All I wanted was a like for like quote on a French door with a window either side. At first the guy never turned up, so I rang his head office who for some strange reason could not get hold of him. In the end he did turn up an hour and a half late. This was now 8pm. His excuse was that he had mislaid his phone and had a puncture. He had the cleanest hands I had ever seen considering that he had been changing a wheel for 1 1/2 hours.......
He stayed until gone past nine, the first quote was the dearest I had got. Then he haggled down to £1000 less. This was still the dearest quote, so he finally agreed at a reasonable price but then said that there are two conditions. 1. That we cancel the other two companies that were due the next day, and 2. that we get them fitted when they want to fit them, not when we want. I agreed on this and we shook hands. He then said that he would have to go to his car to ring his boss to confirm the price. I reminded him that he had no phone....Hmm alarm bells started to ring. He then said that because of the very low price, he would have to drop in to his head office in Burnley, Lancs to confirm this with his boss, but would call back at 12:30 the next day to confirm price, date etc. Guess what, he never called. Then when I chased him, through the head office they said they would get him to call. When he finally did (3pm) he said he never quoted such a low price and it magically went up another £500. He would not leave the quote with me the night before, so be aware of these untrustworthy people. These type of companies should not employ these type of salesmen, or maybe it's the company? He also told me that there is no such thing as BOGOF, it is to get them into your home, and the 'special deal' is when your order goes over £4000, guess that won't be hard, for the first price he gives you.
The company is due to call back to hear my complaint but it wont happen. They will continue to lie and cheat to customers waiting to sell to little old ladies who are intimidated by these rogue salesmen. Oh and one of the reasons for not calling me back was because he was at the Mosque all morning, I will never ever call or use such a poor, unresponsive, miscommunicating, untrustworthy, high pressure-selling company again. Please be warned out there, if you have already ordered, then cancel NOW!

Summary: The sooner this company goes to the wall, the better for all good people.
