Wow, where do i start? Safestyle have been an absolute nightmare to me and my family, i couldn't be more glad that we didnt go with them! initially we where impressed by the fact that we spoke to them and arranged the appointment the very next day, we have since come to realize why!
So hours later than we arranged the salesman turned up, by hours later i mean into antisocial hours, we arranged 6:30pm he turned up at 9:00pm! He then after a cup of tea, with his right hand in his pocket perpetually scratching his gentitals proceeded to measure our windows and telling us things about certain ones which we would later discorver from an Everest salesman to be complete fabrications in attempt to squeeze more money out of us than nessasary. after measuring by which time it was getting on for 10:00pm we recieved the spiel which consisted of mostly a combination of apparant conversations he had had with FENSA officials telling him that this particular model was by far the highest quality and most technologically advanced window they had ever seen and a badmouthing of rival (and lets face it better) companies! with this over with it was time for business... he pulled up a table and chair and sat down for 20 mins to work out pricing, his initial quote was somewhere in the region of £20.000!!! by this time we had grown weiry of all of this so said to him we would not consider paying more than £4000 hoping he would say sorry for waisting your time and leave, but no! a phonecall to head office and suddenly 20.000 had become 7000 and after good long scratch of the genitals and more calls to head office we where now down to 5000 ''but this offer only stands if you sign contracts tonight!'' it was now 11:30 and we had had more than enough of this strange toupet wearing mans invasion of our home for one night, so after turning down his apparent ''offer of a lifetime'' we sent him on his way. thats the last of them we thought but oh how wrong where we!
For 2 months or more after the initial invasion we recieved daily afternoon phonecalls from them pleeding with us to purchase their windows and no matter how much you tell them your not interested they continue to bombard you with their endless terraid of sales calls!
Finally it had seemed to calm down to only one a fortnight, until about a week ago one afternoon i had just got out of the shower when i heard a knock at the door followed by that familiar sound of jingling pocket change... no, surely not i thought to myself, however a peek out of the bathroom window confirmed my suspicion, my heart sank, ''for the love of all that is holy what is the matter with these people'' i thought to myself, maybe if i hide and ingnor it he will go away? Wrong! 2 hours he waited in his car before i finaly accepted fate and breeched my self inflicted house arrest. when i asked him what he was doing i was told that we had requested an appointment. i recall no appointment being made? i told him that i was very sorry but i was certain that we had made nothing of the sort, to which i was replied ''well while im here...'' behave! i asked if i could speak to his management who argued until they where blue in the face that we had arranged this, they even lied and told me they had a recording of the phone call and when i requested to hear it they did their very best to get around it, their story of when this phonecall was made changed dates about 4 times during the conversation aswell before he finally put the phone down. i told the salesman that i was very sorry but the best thing that he could do was to leave and take up the matter with his company.
i thought that by this stage they would get the message and leave us alone but later that day my partner answered a very threatening phonecall from safestyle head office, she handed the phone over to me where i told them that if they did not stop harrassing me and my family that i would call the police!
Finally, end of saga!
so to anybody who is considering safestyle windows as a possibility, please bear this in mind, save yourself the hastle and don't pick up that phone.

Summary: These people have a serious screw loose if this is how they think you sell windows!
