Following my installation of double glazing to the entire house including front door and french windows on the 11th February 2003 I contacted Safestyle regarding a faulty glass sealed unit in my living room which was marked across the centre of the pane.
I was given a reference number and told that a member of their staff would contact me regarding the problem.
On the 2nd of March 2003 some two weeks later I wrote to safestyle enquiring as to why no contact had been made and pointed out to them that their brochure states that:-
"Our job is not finished until you are totally satisfied." And also. " The best in aftersales service for long term peace of mind."
I also emailed them on the 18th March and again on the 1st April again no reply.
I telephoned them again on the 11th April to which I got the reply of:- "your call has been noted and listed for call back"?
I'm still waiting!
I also mentioned in my original letter about the misleading sales pitch of gust proof safety feature to the French Windows to stop them from slamming of which at time I discussed with their Peterborough Manager who had never heard of this and was apologetic and would raise this at a meeting with head office? No comfort for the purchaser who at the time thought this a good idea and helped him decide on the purchase of such a product.
