Advantages: takes the customers money, install windows and doors

Disadvantages: dont want to know about problems, awful customer reltions, the company is never at fault. the customer is always wrong

I had this so called reputable company install 3 windows and a door in October 2002.Fine. At no stage was i informed of there recommendation of care and maintenance, so a few weeks later i put up some vertical blinds. In June2003 the architrave over one of the windows was coming a way. I phoned Safestyle.An engineer came out, took one look at the vertical blinds and said i had invalidted the guarantee by putting un vertical blinds. Where does it say i cant put up vertical blinds???? On the copy of the order i signed i was told.Many phone calls and letters later i still have yet to see a copy of this company's recommendation of care and maintenance because all i am ever told is that it's on the copy of the order i signed. Having searched the order many times i still have to findwhat invalidtes the Safestyle guarantee. The company refuses to send anything in writing. Is this a general get out clause for them to take the customers money and not to do any repairs for them as it would cost them money?????I paid a lot of money thinking i was gauranteed for shoddy workmanship and i would recommend any one dealing with them to ask every question they can and to get the answers in writing as any later problems will no doubt be the customers fault for not adhering to the company's recommendations which they will not put in writing
