I had safestyle uk out to my house to give me a price, i was happy with it and told them to go ahead with the work. a few weeks later i received a phone call telling me they did not want my business as they could not be botherd putting up cladding. I will give my money to some one who wants it.

Their website made them seem really impressive so I decided to e-mail for a quote. I received an instant automated reply promising they would get back to me as soon as they can. It has now been 13 days and still no response so I decide to call them myself. The conversation basically went like this: Me - Hi, can I please get someone to come to my London flat and give me a quote? Man - What's your postcode. Me - W1... (at this point I get cut off) Man - We don't do that area. Me - Can you please recommend anyone else who might? Man - No, sorry. Goodbye. Therefore in a nutshell: Rude, unhelpful, inefficient at responding to enquiries AND it is ridiculous that they do not do W1.

HOW TO GET RID QUICKLY.

I recently had these guys come to my door and I arranged an appointment. 10 minutes before they arrived I visited this site and felt apprehensive looking at the reviews. As many said, the guy who came to the door explained he was regional manager and has his own driver. He did come empty handed though.

I swiftly informed him that I was looking to just buy panes of glass and not windows, he informed me that they didn't do this (which I knew as I had already told them when they came to the door.) He informed me that that it would cost much more and I said lets leave it there.

So if you, like me have just stumbled across this site and have had second thoughts, try it. ( I also considered showing this site to him before we started)

BUNCH OF COWBOYS!!!! Stay away from Safestyle, They fitted a upvc front door for me and did £400 worth of damage to my hallway, fitted it on a slope, at the wrong height. Spent hours on the phone, couldn't get hold of anyone who knew anything, after 6 months they finally came around and said do yo have a photos of what it looked like before (as if) then refused to fix it.

Do not use these cowboys.
they came round, quoted a good price, so we signed up for the work to be done. they charged us £60 up front for a surveyor - a cheque that was cashed.
then three days later they rang and said they want another £800 on top of the agreed price or they will terminate the contract.

We just had safestyle uk round and oh my god what a bunch of idiots! Had my windows replaced by Safestyle and was very pleased. The whole installation took less than one day, the fitters were very polite & cleaned up well when finished. I would certainly recommend this company.
