Stafford registry office is a very sweet place that we have visited twice now and although we are not getting married there it would be a lovely place too and here is why.

To find the office is easy as it is just off from a main car park and although it is not signposted that much, there is a plaque on the building so you know you have reached it when you get there. The building is in a quiet area of Stafford which is just out of the main shopping street. The building is quite old style with a bright white door and it is a lovely clean brown building which would look nice on pictures.

When you walk in there is an old smell in the hallway which is typical of this type of building and there is an impressive stairway with several rooms leading off of the hallway. Reception is clearly sign posted and what strikes me about this place is that it is so quiet. You do feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and not in the centre of a town.

The registry office is obviously for lots of things but we came for the marriage talk as it is our county we live in so that is all I can comment on really. Now we met the registrar who did not keep us waiting long and she was fantastic. She answered all of our questions and was very polite but businesslike which I appreciated.

All other staff in the premises seemed really nice as we met 2 of them and I think that you do get good friendly service from this registry office. We also had a look in the wedding room which was very nice.

So location wise this registry office is great and staff wise it is wonderful so I can't really complain about our short visit here. The decoration is very old style which I like and it does seem like you are in a lovely country venue. Stafford is very nice anyway and there are lots of lovely wedding venues around the area so you cant go wrong.
In conclusion I think it is a lovely venue for a wedding and if the service you get from the staff for weddings is the same as everything else then I think it is fabulous.
