My son started Tumble Tots when he was 2 and I was pregnant with my second son. He loved it! He is a rough and tumble boy who needs physical activity to keep his attention. He was able to climb, roll, jump, throw things all in the confines of the hall. As he progressed with his ability so did the classes. He is now 3 and a half and still enjoys going every Saturday. The classes aren't as challenging to him any more but that is due to other classes he now attends such as gymnastics. I am considering enrolling my younger son in a class now that he is walking. I believe these classes give children the confidence to try new things, the assurance that they ... Read the complete review

I tried my local Tumble Tots when my son got to about 9 months and was nearly crawling after checking with the contact that the session would be suitable for him as he was not yet quite mobile. I went to my first session with high hopes and found a lot of gym equipment and 3 staff and it all looked very professional. We started in a circle with some activity songs where it became clear that there was one member of staff collecting money, one pushing the buttons on the tape player and one actually taking the session. After the circle time we were left to occupy ourselves and our babies on the equipment. A lot of which was climbing equipment, but there was ... Read the complete review

Tumbletots is a national franchise for children from 6 months upwards. I am writing about the classes for babies from 6 months until walking which are called Gymbabes. We started going to these when my son was exactly 6 months old, and I was really excited as the website looks fantastic. They claim to aid crawling and walking. The cost was £5.50 a class, plus a £20 yearly membership fee which was not optional - to attend the classes you had to join. For joining, you got a t-shirt with gymbabes on (white with green lettering), a drawstring bag and a small inflatable bag. I did not like the fact that you were forced to join because if you did not enjoy the ... Read the complete review

After reading some positive reviews on here I decided to give Tumbletots a go. Tumbletots is divided into different age groups - 6 months to walking is Gymbabes, 2-3, 3-4 & 4-5 is all tumbletots and then 5 upwards is Gymbobs. My son is only just 1 and therefore, we attened a Gymbabe class. The class cost £5 which we payed on the door and lasted 45 minutes. It began with a introduction and massage - my son laid on the floor and the instructor told us what to do with their bodies etc. We then had a sing song which he really enjoyed and had a quick chat about our week. The babies were then left to their own devices, there ... Read the complete review

I have just started my 3 year old at Tumbletots as I found she was getting too old for toddler group. Tumbletots is a franchise which is designed to help children learn and develop physical skills. Balance, co-ordination, agility and climbing. They use brightly coloured apparatus which is put together into little circuits for the children to go around with the staffs' help and encouragement. Each session is 45 minutes long, once a week. There are different programmes to suit different age groups. - Gymbabes, 6 months old to walking. - Tumbletots, which has three different programmes, walking to two years old, two to three years of ...
