I have just started my 3 year old at Tumbletots as I found she was getting too old for toddler group.

Tumbletots is a franchise which is designed to help children learn and develop physical skills. Balance, co-ordination, agility and climbing. They use brightly coloured apparatus which is put together into little circuits for the children to go around with the staffs' help and encouragement.

Each session is 45 minutes long, once a week. There are different programmes to suit different age groups.

- Gymbabes, 6 months old to walking.
- Tumbletots, which has three different programmes, walking to two years old, two to three years of age and then three years to school age.
- Gymbobs, school age to 7 years old.

The staff are great, my Daughter cried the first couple of times but they take the children under their wing and make the children feel at ease and enjoy themselves.

They have the equipment set out differently every two weeks to do different things. They have ladders, tunnels, giant sponge shapes, slides and more. They have routines to bring in songs and interact with eachother like playing with balls together.

The sessions are £5.50 each and you pay by the term. You also have to pay £20 a year for insurance and for a special t-shirt and magazines you get now and again.

Tumble Tots has over 500 centres in the UK operated by more than 100 Franchisees and a current membership base of around 60,000 children. Since its inception in 1979, close to a million children worldwide have benefited from the Tumble Tots Programme. These figures are true from 25/07/2006 according to the Tumbletots website.

My Daughter loves it and I feel assured by the great staff that I can leave her for 45 minutes. When I pick her up she is always happy and can't wait to tell me what she's been up to.
