Advantages: A lovely place for a few hours

Disadvantages: No outside play area

I just wanted to tell you all how great the creche at Victoria Station London is. Recently I wanted to go to an interview for a weekend job, trouble was it was on a Tuesday and my partner works from 8am to 7pm and I do not have any friends or family who live near us. I was completely desperate to go the interview as the job sounded just right. I tried all sorts of creches (shopping centres etc)but no-one would take her as she was only 7 months. In the end I found out about a creche in the station which is run by Connex the train people and Acacdemy childcare.
They looked after my daughter for £4 an hour for 3 hours. It was really brilliant, clean, bright and spacious with lots of toys and facilities such as a sleep room and a room for tiny babies with bouncers etc.
The women were really kind to Amelia and I felt confident leaving her there. They even gave me a pager as I don't have a phone.
I would really recommend it for occasional care.
