L'Occitane Verbena Shower Gel
by shopping_jem
There are lots of lovely products in the l'occitane brand, and this is one of them. It has a lovely distinctive bottle which is classy but not old-fashioned and looks great on my bathroom shelf. The shower gel itself is a slightly runny gel, yellowy in colour and transparent. The smell is very strong - it smells of essential oils, and ... really relaxes and awakens the senses. The smells of lemon and geranium are the strongest, which are lovely and fresh and botanical.
The gel foams up moderately well, it doesn't create a massive amount of foam but spreads reasonable well. I do have to use quite a lot of it, but it feels nice and smooth on the skin, and when I rinse the smell is still strong and my skin feels clean.
Overall, I love this shower gel because the lemony geranium-y scent really appeals to me, and I rate l'occitane as having good ingredients. The smell reminds me strongly of pure essential oils and extracts, which is much nicer that shower gels that smell "fake". It cleans quite well, but I wouldn't say it has any special impact on my skin. Read the complete review |

L'Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream
by askmeanything
L'Occitane is a luxury high-end foot cream, the sort that celebrities like to endorse. Simply unscrew the lid on the top of the tube and administer. I know I should exfoliate first but I don't like the feel of that and the cream does the job regardless. The ingredients are natural and there is a total of fifteen per cent Shea butter in a ... 150ml tube. Shea butter is the fat extracted from the nut of the African Shea tree. The point of using Shea butter is for fast absorption into the skin to stop the cream from feeling greasy.
The cream is highly concentrated with a lovely floral and fresh scent. This scent isn't overpowering especially as it's far from my nose! I don't need to use very much of it and it has lasted about seven months. I've just put on the last drop for the sake of this review and to refresh my feet. I'm going to miss this cream. I should have added this to my Christmas gift ideas for women. If anyone buys this for me it would make me really happy. You see, this is a really indulgent cream and though it lasts long I have, in the past, made cheap alternatives last this kind of duration. I could spend less on products that make my feet feel soft too but this cream has the advantage for making my feet look good for longer even without a daily top up.
It has a bit of a greasy feel, but only initially, as once I begin to massage it in the toes, foot and ankles, the cream is absorbed into the skin quickly enough. When put on socks afterwards, I don't find my feet, inside them, feel slimy or greasy. On the contrary, my feet feel refreshed upon application. I don't have the rough feet that I used to have. I hope that I can keep my feet in good condition now this tube has come to an end. I might have to buy another tube.
Just think about how feet take the weight of the rest of the human body. We put our feet under tremendous pressure. It's time to reward them. Feet need looking after. Give them a home style pedicure. You might want to use a pumice stone to take off the dry skin. Make sure you enjoy the cool sensation of massaging the cream into your feet. This should be a great pampering experience. With such expensive cream this must be an enjoyable session. Finally, the cream will have absorbed into your skin and the scent of flowers will remain on your feet for a prolonged while yet. Put socks on, even if you are going to bed. Wearing socks after this process will help to retain the moisturising properties of the Shea butter and leave your feet feeling smoother for longer.
Don't forget your poor feet. Kick start your way into the future with baby soft feet. Plan in advance for the sandal wearing season and you'll feel no shame in showing off your beautiful feet thanks to L'Occitane Shea butter foot cream. Read the complete review |

L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette
by reviewingboss
What can I say, this perfume really does leave me speechless. I am not a fan of perfumes which smell obviously synthetic and of strong chemical-esque smells, so for this to be of something natural is refreshing.
I really like this product. It is a genuinely refreshing perfume and I can't recommend it enough in this respect. ... It's fragrant and can be worn for any occasion, whether going out on the town or just for day to day use. It does smell fresh, it smells fragrant and is really nice. What can I say? It smells soft and comforting and isn't overpowering in any way. It does smell of cherry blossom, I'll put it that way. It has a distinctly soft and feminine scent which lasts for a long time too. For me personally it is something which I would wear because of the natural element to it but it's all down to personal taste.
The bottle is simplistic and pretty too which gives you the impression that it's more natural. That's why I love this product a lot because it is so simple yet so brilliant. It would make a good present for a wife or daughter at Christmas or even for a birthday as it is a genuinely nice thing to receive for any woman.
I think then we can gather that this product is really nice. But if you get a chance - test it in a shop! Read the complete review |
