The Bottle The bottle is a translucent plastic and the lid is made of silver coloured plastic. On the front of the bottle is the brand and product name along with the size of the bottle, mine is 400ml's. L'occitane are a French company that was founded over thirty years ago in Provence. They use natural ingredients and traditions in their products and the products just scream quality !! This product is just divine on so many levels. I love the almond smell and don't worry if you think it will smell like cheap marzipan because it doesn't!! The L'occitane story begins in 1976, in France. Its aim is to respect man and the environment and with this in mind, it supports three main causes. L'Occitane as a range is a real luxury and feels like a treat to use, there are many of their products which I love and will mostly get as gifts because they are quite expensive but always feel like a real treat. I first got almond oil as a gift but will never be without it now as it is so beautiful on the skin. ....Packaging.... During the winter time especially I suffer from dry, itchy skin in my shins especially. They become so itchy I can and have scratch them till they bleed. I think the combination of central heating and being encased in jeans,socks and boots doesn't help. I have tried several moisturisers to help, but to be honest, I am a bit lazy.
