... itself has a nice design and a slightly unusual opening mechanism, as you twist the top to open or close the hole where the cream comes out, so there is no flip top or screw top. This is nice but the only thing is you have to make sure you do twist it back or you risk making a massive mess if the tube is in your bag. I do prefer this tube to the usual metal tubes from L'Occitane as those ones can get bashed out of shape and end up looking scruffy more easily, whereas this one does keep its shape and is a bit hardier.

I received this L'Occitane cherry blossom petal soft hand cream as one of my Christmas presents from my sister in law and this is one that I was glad to unwrap. I like L'Occitane products in general as I usually find them to be good quality but I don't buy them too often as they are on the more expensive side (this hand cream is £14.00 for 75ml which is more than I would normally pay) so I think they make great gifts.
