Advantages: sheer luxury for a couple of quid

Disadvantages: you find the need to collect the lot!

Soap is a word which covers a massive range of products - from bars so harsh they'd wash the freckles off your nose to seriously luxurious beauty treatments that offer positive skincare benefits.
This range from the trendy L'Occitane comes from the latter end of the spectrum - but without the price tag you might expect. While they're certainly not bargain basement, for a couple of pounds you can pick up a bar which contains nothing but natural ingredients (and no slaughterhouse by-products) and which smells seriously expensive.
Scents available include milk, almond, lavender, fig, vanilla, cinnamon, orange, honeysuckle and lemon verbena - all derived from natural extracts. My personal favourite is probably the lemon - it has a very unusual 'dry' and fresh scent.
The most important factor, however, is that they contain 20 per cent shea butter, a very moisturising and fairly costly ingredient which will protect even the dryest and most delicate skins while they are cleansed.
