L'Occitane - Shea Butter Handcream:

This range is now desperately fashionable, but that's not why I absolutely swear by this handcream.
It contains a whopping 20 per cent of shea butter, a natural plant extract, which is one of the most moisturising and protective ingredients around.
This handcream is absolutely the best for those with very dry skin. It's a very very thick white cream that comes in a trendy aluminium tube. It smells of nothing much, so there's nothing to dislike there
It's the richest cream I've found anywhere for anything, so is also great to use on any other areas of very dry skin, like elbows and knees.
It sinks in quite quickly for something so thick. It's not what I use all the time, but it's great to have as a stand-by even if your hands aren't *that* dry.
Oh - and it makes a great cuticle treatment too
