L'occitaine is a brand that I have avoided in the past because of the prices. I do find them crazily expensive but I have to say, all of the product that i've tried have been of the best quality and I do think they're worth the money. This product is no different. The packaging is sturdy and will withstand any travelling or thowing in your handbag that you require. My tub is a handy 100ml, which really is a perfect size for taking anywhere. The labels are very pretty and give a real impression of quality and care. The product itself is GORGEOUS. I love the idea of L'Occitane products - the French connection, the use of "natural" ingredients, the sophisticated but nicely old fashioned packaging, the gorgeous smell of the shops.... but to be honest, I generally find the products themselves to be a little hit and miss. And in the instance of Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream, the benefits are unfortunately equalled by the disadvantages. I must admit I am one for a bargain, especially when it comes to cosmetics or toiletries. So when I was watching a well known shopping channel and found one of my favourtie hand creams in a special offer bundle it was a no brainer. I have very sensitive skin and until recently could only use L'Occitane shea butter hand cream ( a god send ). When my bundle of goodies arrived I noticed a L'Occitane shea butter ultra rich body cream. Next time I had a shower I tried it and immediately loved it.
