WHAT IS IT? A cream eyeshadow designed to be applied directly from the tube using the applicator located inside the lid, similar to using a lip gloss. IS IT ANY GOOD? I'm on the fence with this eyeshadow, I wanted to love it as it's such a cheap product that I hoped it would be one of those rare beauty bargains you find here and there. My main problem is with the applicator as this is badly shaped and gives very patchy coverage, it picks up very little colour with each dip and the constant pausing to reload the applicator makes it awkward to blend tidily. I was needing some new eyeshadows and did not want to spend alot of money as i only wear eye shadow when going on nights out. Usually i just apply maskara and im good to go. I had seen so many of these cream based eye shadows in the shops but had never tried them before, i usually go for the powder based ones but i felt a change was needed. I bought my L,Oreal cream eye shadow from amazon for £2.99. I felt that was cheap and if it was not good then i had not wasted much pennies! You can also buy them from most chemist that stock L'Oreal make up. I know superdrug sells them for £4.99. I bought mine in Beige Crystal colour but they ... Read the complete review

My friend recently invested in some of this eyeshadow and swears by it mainly because she wears contact lenses and says that the powder eyeshadow seems to make her eyes water and itch so switching to this has been good for her. However as much as i like the idea of it I do not really think it is good for me. The product comes in a clear tube so it is easy to identify the colour and decide if it is for you , but if you get a shimmer one be warned it will be a lot lighter when applied, the lid when removed holds the applicator, one very similar to that you would find on a lip gloss and is made of sponge which is very flexible and pretty cheap not the usual ... I thought I'd give this a try as it makes a change from powder eyeshadows and I hoped it would leave a nice creamy pigment and be easy to apply. Well I was quite disappointed with this product. I bought this in the peach shade for £3 which was a very reasonable price, although I see know why that probably is... The tube itself is clear and this allows you to see the colour inside. The lid contains a long sponge-tipped applicator - much like you would find on a lip gloss. While I thought the colour was quite nice and natural looking, the applicator was completely hopeless at giving any sort of even coverage. It just pasted on in a streaky manner and looked very ...
