Advantages: Long lasting, reasonable price, highly pigmented

Disadvantages: Limited range of colours

I first spotted this eyeshadow when browsing the make up in Boots, I was supposed to buying something from the pharmacy but couldn't resist swiping a few eyeshadows on the back of my hand and the pigmentation of this powder eyeshadow just blew me away!

It's really metallic looking and the colour goes on the same colour as it is in the little flip lid container with just one rub of a finger across it. I had to have it - the colour I chose, 'Brown Lame', is the kind of thing that can be dressed up or dressed down which makes it a great choice for me, and the price was reasonable for such a wonderful eyeshadow at under £5 as well which was a major bonus.

The hard case it comes in is pretty nice to look at and I did feel naughty rubbing the applicator onto the pan of eyeshadow and disrupting the lovely embossed pattern on it, but boy did it feel fantastic applying it to my lids. It looks fabulous and I absolutely love using a smaller brush and lining underneath my eye with it before smudging slightly to give me a bit of a chrome-smokey eye look to my make up. I have found I get better results using the applicator it was supplied with rather than one of my brushes that I use for every other eyeshadow I own. It also looks great with a more neutral colour all over the lid and this blended into the crease line, giving a bit of extra sparkle as it adds depth to the eyes but keeping your look simple.

I'm not sure how long it is supposed to last for but I can tell you that even in the warmer weather we've been having this eyeshadow holds up better than a lot I own, a good 16 hours after applying it first thing in the morning it is only slightly faded and still looks pretty good. I adore it!

My only complaint would be that there just aren't enough colours in the range, there's only about a handful, or at least in my local Boots and Superdrug that is, and that is such a shame as I'd adore a chrome look deep purple, which would look fab with one of the silver hued shades they already have available.

I will definitely be keeping my eye for more colours in this range, and if I ever run out of the one I have I will be repurchasing it as it is such a fabulous shadow and colour!

Summary: Fabtastic, and I'd love more but there aren't that many colours!
