Loving eyeshadows the way I do I recently read a review by a member on here called x-Take-me-home-x (terrific read by the way hunni!) and cos of reading her glowing report on these eyeshadows when I was in town I decided to buy a couple as I so liked the sound of them. I was a little dubious on spending the £4.88 each because I really didn't need them but echoing in my head were the words of her review so I parted with my cash with high hopes for this and a hope I wouldn't be disappointed!

The Packaging:

Square see-through flip open case and you can see the textured round shaped eyeshadow colour through it. On the lid that shape is emphasized by a gold ring and on that I'm told it is L'oreal Paris twice and under that I'm told it's 'Chrome Shine'. On the back/bottom of the compact there is gold label and on that I'm told what it is and the colour is stated along with a number, I'm told the compact is recyclable and contact details for L'Oreal are given and there is a small bar-code on there. Within the compact there is a very small but good quality eyeshadow applicator made of sponge and all in all it looks grown up and more importantly than anything it is all very secure.

The Eyeshadow:

These are simply amazing! I love the two I own and next time I'm in town I'm definitely investing in a few more colours (I saw about 8 on display).

So if you wipe your finger over the eyeshadow in it's compact it feels as smooth as silk to the touch, has no smell to it (if you sniff it) and it just feels really nice...that's exactly what happens when you apply it to the eyes too!

Use the aplicator given, or use your own brush or whatever the choice is yours. It's a dry powder formulation but as you gently glide your 'tool' over it you don't get a mess it simply clings on to your chosen method of application meaning no flaking or mess anywhere.

It glides over the eyes with ease making blending easy, it feels soft and you don't have to work it, it works itself. I seriously love the effortless way it goes on the eyes and feels so kind on the skin and you can simply forget it's there.

The effects are blooming marvellous! You ever see them celebrities on the tv with shimmery, gorgeous eye make up and ever think why can't I do that? Well these really do look expensive on and feel like quality to use and you can now get them looks! Once on they don't transfer, they stay shimmery for hours with no fading or going patchy and they remove easy with your usual make up removal routine... again with ease.

Verdict:

There is nothing to dislike about these at all. Easy to use, long wearing and the choice of colours is lovely. they don't agitate my over sensitive eyes and when wearing these I've had compliments. this range of quality products, in my opinion is suitable for any woman who appreciates a polished appearance! I do....I can't wait till boots opens tomorrow...I have a date!

i purchased mine in Boots but as far as I'm aware they are widely available as they are a current range of slightly metallic eyeshadows.

Summary: A serious must buy ladies!
