You need to smooth it with your fingertips along the lashes or face, wait until the make-up is dissolved, then add some water which will transform the gel into liquid, and finally wipe off or rinse. From my experience I can say that removing make-up with Elixir Concentrate is quite time consuming and messy. First, you need to wait a few minutes before the make-up dissolves, especially difficult is a mascara, then remove the...more

Premium Review L'Oreal De-Maq Expert Elixir Concentrate Make-Up Remover: A not so expert make up remover! (824 words)

Removing make-up can be a real ordeal particularly if like me you plaster yourself in it daily! I'm always on the look out for really good, easy to use cleansers that are reasonable in price and give good results! The Packaging.... 100ml black and see through, plastic tube with flip top opening to the bottom of it. On the front in silver, white and black writing I'm told it is L'Oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise De-Maq Expert Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-Up Remover 'For waterproof & long-lasting cosmetics'. I'm told it is a professional formula and then I'm told it is 'Our most concentrated formula in make-up removing ingredients' and that it's satin ...  Read the complete review

I recently bought L'Oreal De-maq Expert Elixir Concentrate Ultra Make-Up Remover. It is designed with professional technology to remove waterproof and long-lasting cosmetics from eyes and skin. Before, I had tried another product to remove my new waterproof mascara but it didn't work so I decided I would opt for something more effective this time. To be honest I was tempted by the price of this product, which was quite expensive at £5.49 in Boots (I though expensive product must work well), and claims on the tube that it contained a 'professional' and 'most concentrated' formula. I bought it. Packaging: The tube looks professional, has very ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review L'Oreal De-Maq Expert Elixir Concentrate Make-Up Remover: Great for getting rid of waterproof mascara (259 words)

I bought this Make Up Remover because i was allergic to my previous 'Boots Cucumber Make Up Remover' and i looked at the alternatives that were available to buy . This product was tested under dermatological and ophthalmological control and i would strongly recommend it to all women suffering from eczema . When I bought it it was for 3.99 in local 'while stock last' shop, but it is normally available for app. 4.99 - 5.99 in superdrug or online. L'oreal De-Maq Make-up remover gently remove all traces of make up inluding strong waterproof mascara and long lasting lipstick.Application is quick and easy : simply apply a small amount of concentrate to dry ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not quite as good I'd hoped. (224 words)

I am a wearer of Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, which is a super long-lasting formula meaning you need a special make up remover to take it off. Having previously bought Estee Lauder's make up remover at around £17, when I saw this in Boots for £5.49 I had to give it a try. The product has a strange texture which I can only describe as an 'oily gel'. You use just a small amount which you rub over your dry face. As it has such an oily texture it spreads quite easily over the face. You can then remove the product with cotton wool, or like I did rinse with water. Once water is added the gel transforms and goes milky and it rinses off easily taking all ...  Read the complete review

I first bought this product a few weeks ago upon the recommendation of a friend. At first, I was a bit hestiatate, as I had heard some pretty bad reviews about it, but personally, I found it to be a brilliant product. I wear a lot of makeup, so I really needed a product to completely remove the makeup. Eventually, I thought, what the hell, and went and bought it. From superdrug, it only cost me £3.99, so to be honest, it wasnt that much money to waste it I didnt like it. The first time I used it was following a night out. I was wearing waterproof mascara, which is known to be hell to get off, and L'Oreal De-Maq Expert Elixir Concentrate Make-Up Remover did the ...  Read the complete review
