WHAT IS IT?

A well known hairspray made by L'Oreal. Available in a variety of different holds, there is a hairspray to choose for any occasion.

IS IT ANY GOOD?

With hand on heart I can say it's the best mid priced hairspray available. Whichever hold you choose I'm sure you'll be impressed, you can easily decide which one is best for you just by thinking about the style you are hoping to achieve. In my experience the Normal hold is suitable for the majority of styles and you really only need the stronger varieties for more complex hair art.

The hairspray is dispensed in a fine mist and a short burst will cover a large area of hair, it doesn't leave your hair feeling wet or sticky and has a much fresher fragrance than other hairsprays.  I also am impressed by the fact that it doesn't make my hair stiff or hard, obviously the stronger holds are more likely to stiffen the hair but the Normal one specifically leaves my hair looking and feeling natural.  The hairspray washes out well and leaves no residue after washing.

ANYTHING ELSE?

I will carry on using Elnett for as long as it is available, not just on my own hair but on my clients' too.  I rarely deviate from using the Normal hold variety but will occasionally choose the Strong hold hairspray if I am styling someone's hair into a french plait or pleat for example. It's suitable for most hair types including very coarse Afro Caribbean hair and is also gentle enough to be used in moderation on children's hair, an important consideration when I am choosing what supplies to take with me when I am working on the hair of a bridal party.

Elnett is not a cheap hairspray with a 400ml tin costing £5.99, prices fluctuate depending on what variation you buy but this is an average example.
